Education spending should be at the top of the General Election agenda

Russell Hobby, general secretary of school leaders’ union NAHT, said: “The Prime Minister’s decision to call a general election means that many school leaders will fear that education has been forgotten at the expense of Brexit. All of us who care about children’s lives must work together to make sure that education is the one issue that candidates cannot ignore when talking to voters.”

NAHT’s Annual Conference is being held from 28th-30th April and will provide school leaders with chance to put the most important issues in education on the political radar.
